Frame

Please note that the disortion of straight lines is due to the wide field of view of the photograph. 

The frame for the OutBack Cabin Company's cabins and cottages are made from laminated 8" x 8" and 4" x 6" beams.

Two 8” x 8”  beams run the length of the cabin. A number of 4” x 6”  beams are then placed at 2’ centres  perpendicular to the 8” x 8” ‘s and secured with metal brackets.  

This framework makes for an extremely strong and affordable “foundation” for all the cabins produced at the OutBack Cabin Company.
